Questions

Who are the books for?

Children aged 4 to 8, and the grown-ups who read with them. Our Everyday Signals pocket guides are for the grown-ups.

What are the four words?

Fast, heavy, tight and steady. They're a simple way for a child to say how their body feels. "Not sure" is fine too. Noticing is the whole job.

Which book should we start with?

Try the check-in on the home page. Pick a word, and it shows a move to try and a book to start with.

How long does delivery take?

Our books are printed to order. In the UK, most orders arrive within 5 to 10 working days, and delivery is free on orders of £40 or more. Each book page shows an expected delivery date for your country. See our shipping policy for other countries and costs.

Can I return a book?

Yes, within 30 days if it's unused. If anything arrives damaged or wrong, email us and we'll put it right. See our refund policy.

Can schools and settings order?

Yes. You can order here, or email hello@theregulatedhumanco.co.uk about larger orders.

Can I use the free printables in class?

Yes. Print them for your family, classroom or setting. Please don't sell them. Things to do.

Is Little Signals therapy?

No. Little Signals books and activities are for sharing and noticing together. They aren't a diagnosis, therapy or medical advice. If you're worried about a child, speak to your GP, health visitor or the child's school.

Is there an app?

It's coming. Join the waiting list on the home page and we'll email you when it's ready.

Who makes Little Signals?
